Steve Mitchell is the VP of Contracts and Partnering Services at Infratech . He has been an integral part of the growth and direction of the company and saw it grow from 50 to 200 employees. Steve’s ability to exceed customer expectations has been fundamental in forging trusting and long-lasting relationships with clients, which result in multi-year contracts and repeat business.

Career

Steve’s  interest in the industry began as a child watching his Father as a lineman and his efforts to restore power after hurricane Hugo. His first job was with Sumter Builders in 1996 and he joined Infratech as a lineman, supervising crews in 1999. Steve was part of the team responsible for developing the Florida region in 2000 which now makes up a significant portion of the company’s revenue. In 2004, he was promoted to Area Manager with 60 direct reports and projects ranging from HDD utility placement and replacement, URD, Duct Banks, to associated line construction.
In 2006, Steve joined the corporate office as the Sales Manager, transitioning to Director of Sales in 2013 and to VP of Contracts and Partnering Services in 2014, where he is responsible for business and service development, as well as evaluating and bidding on new projects.
Steve’s dual experience in operations and sales gives him a unique insight into client needs, so he can tailor solutions to the specific requirements of our customers.
